What Seren is

Seren is a research intelligence workspace. The entry point is not a library or a sign-up form. It is a hypothesis. You state what you believe is true; the system maps what the field knows about it — what is established, what is contested, and what nobody has tested yet.

Not a reference manager. Not an AI chat. Seren decomposes your hypothesis into sub-claims, scores each against the literature, and keeps a permanent record of every decision you made and the evidence state at the moment you made it. The result is an epistemic map: a single source of truth for what you believe, what the evidence says, and why you decided as you did.

We do not ask what you are trying to figure out. We ask what you believe is true. The distinction is deliberate. Researchers who use Seren already have a hypothesis. They need to see how well it is supported — and where the gaps and disagreements are — so they can act on the real state of the evidence.
